The vehicles in use are a Toyota Terrago, which comfortably seats eight people and a Toyota Hiace bus which comfortably seats twelve. We also accommodate walking frames and folding wheelchairs.

We send newsletters quarterly detailing the forthcoming 3 day breaks, including activities such as outings to restaurants, ferry trips and visits to local attractions e.g. Art galleries, wineries, concerts, theatre, RSLs. We make every effort to include activities and locations previously discussed with you.

Day 1 includes taking the group for an outing on the way to our respite home. We have a relaxed lunch and visit to a local attraction. The respite accommodation is a very homely property "House on the Hill" in Kilcunda, overlooking beautiful countryside and in the distance the Bass Strait can be seen. House on the Hill is a hobby farm and guests can interact with the Llamas, the chooks and miniature horses, not to mention "Lofty" (the Shetland pony).

For those guests interested in flowers or veggies, there is a beautiful Rose garden and a large vegetable patch which everyone is encouraged to experience. Then there's Tex, the cowboy, and of course his gentle steed Lippy, they're local icons and usually visit when we are there.

There are also gentle walks along scenic coastal tracks and fishing at the local trout farm, we encourage our guests to cook whatever they catch - it's great fun! We often have theme nights- St. Patrick's conjures up all sorts of Irish mischief! And of course there's Christmas in July - nobody does it better than House on the Hill!!!

Day 2 - we encourage a very relaxed atmosphere, so guests who enjoy a lie in, do so. Breakfast is provided as each guest is ready and the morning is generally passed doing activities in and around the respite home. Following lunch we may travel to a local attraction before heading home, arrival time is usually between 4.00 - 5.00pm.
